Confidentiality policy: Personal data
So that you can use our Services in complete confidence, this Privacy Policy aims to describe in a transparent manner what data is processed by MMH, how and why.
The data you enter
Creating a user account
In order to create an alert, apply for a job offer, submit an online CV or an advertisement, you need to create a user account.
When you create your account, only your email address is collected.
You can also choose to complete your profile by providing us with your Last Name and First Name (not compulsory)
Submitting a CV
To submit a CV online, you must first create a user account.
The personal data entered when submitting a CV (experience, training, job search area, type of position, etc.) is only used to be displayed on our website (access reserved for recruiters). You can also import your CV in pdf format. This will be saved for future applications
The compulsory or optional nature of the data you provide is indicated by an asterisk at the time of collection.
Sending an application or a message
To apply for a job or send a message to a salesperson, you must first create a user account.
No additional personal information is collected, only the personal data entered in your account (email, surname, first name) is used to be sent to the recruiter. You can also attach your CV and covering letter in pdf format (sent as an attachment to your application email).
Posting a classified ad
The classified ad service is designed for professionals to post a job offer, put a campsite up for sale or sell second-hand equipment.
To place an ad, you must first create a user account.
No additional personal information is collected; only the company's details are collected to ensure that the service runs smoothly and for billing purposes (if you subscribe to a paying option)
Use of data
On the basis of the performance of the contract between us, we use your data to provide you with our services:
- publish your Advertisement / CV;
- create and manage your Account;
- sell and invoice the credits and paid options that you subscribe to;
- send you email notifications about your use of our services;
- send you email alerts for new adverts matching your search;
- transmit to the professional concerned the data you have entered when sending a message;
- answer your customer support questions;
- enable you to carry out transactions via the Secure Payment Service;
- allow you to be recontacted by an advertiser/recruiter;
Data recipients
The data we collect is accessible to our service providers, acting as subcontractors, who contribute administratively and technically to achieving the purposes set out above (hosting service provider, payment service provider, advertising technology, etc.)
In order to comply with our legal obligations, your personal data may also be passed on to the authorised administrative and judicial authorities, only if requested by a court of law.
Our advertising service providers may, with your consent, collect data in their capacity as data controller (you can control the deposit of cookies by these service providers via a message when you open the website)
Our service provider Stripe acts as data controller for the provision of a Secure Online Payment Service. Stripe carries out all data processing related to Transactions using the data you enter during payment. Stripe also processes data for its own purposes in order to comply with its legal obligations in terms of money laundering and terrorist financing. Lastly, when you reply to an Advertisement, send a job application or contact a supplier, your contact data is transmitted to the Advertiser concerned, which is the data controller.
Any Advertiser (recruiter, seller, supplier) placing an advert is responsible for processing all the personal data that it is likely to receive from users of www.campsite-management.co.uk.
As such, they undertake to comply with the legal and regulatory provisions in force relating to the personal data of users that they collect. In particular, it undertakes to implement all technical means to maintain the integrity, security and confidentiality of personal data and to guarantee the security of access to the systems storing this personal data.
The Advertiser is hereby informed of the obligations incumbent upon it as data controller, and in particular the respect of users' rights and in particular their right to access, oppose and rectify information concerning them. If users wish to exercise their rights, they must contact the Advertiser concerned directly.
The Advertiser accepts responsibility in the event of non-compliance with these obligations and guarantees and will indemnify MMH and its service providers (including legal costs and lawyers' fees) against any action, claim or demand made by an authority or a third party following any breach by the Advertiser of the terms of this article.
Retention period
The length of time we keep your personal data varies according to the purpose for which it was collected:
- Account data (identity, electronic contact details, imported CV) is kept for 3 years from the end of the commercial relationship;
- Data relating to the management of your Account and your Advertisements are kept for a period of 5 years from the date of their deletion, exclusively for purposes of proof;
- Documents and accounting vouchers are kept for 10 years as accounting proof;
- Data relating to your bank card is kept by our payment service provider until full payment has been made and, for proof purposes in the event of a claim, for 13 months;
- Data likely to be the subject of a judicial requisition (connection data, identity, contact details, transaction data) is kept for 12 months from the date of collection;
Re-use of e-mail addresses
You may receive emails from our company to inform you of new services offered by campsite-management.co.uk or changes to existing services. If you do not wish to receive such emails, you can unsubscribe via a link at the bottom of the email.
Data security
We protect your information using physical, electronic and administrative security measures. Our safeguards include firewalls, physical access controls to our data centres and authorisation controls for access to information.
Right of access, rectification, deletion
You may exercise your :
- Right of access: obtain confirmation as to whether or not your data is being processed, and if so, to access this data.
- Right of rectification: obtain that your inaccurate data be rectified, and that your incomplete data be completed. You can also change the personal details in your Account at any time. Simply go to your Account and click on the "My personal data" tab.
- Right of deletion: obtain the deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
- Right of limitation: obtain the limitation of processing when you oppose it, when you dispute the accuracy of your data, when you believe that their processing is unlawful, or when you need them for the establishment, exercise or defence of your legal rights.
- Right to object: you may object at any time to the processing of your data by MMH, except in the event of legitimate and compelling reasons on the part of MMH. You may also object to the processing of your data for canvassing purposes.
- Right to portability: to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable and interoperable format, and to transmit them to another data controller without us interfering.
- Right not to be subject to a decision based on automated processing: you have the right not to be subject to a decision based exclusively on automated processing which produces legal effects concerning or affecting you, except where such decision is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract, or is authorised by law.
- Complaints: you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory or judicial authority.
- Instructions in the event of death: to give instructions for the fate of your personal data in the event of your death.
Pursuant to articles 17 and 21 of the RGPD, you may exercise these rights by sending us an e-mail or letter (see contact details above). Your request will be processed within a maximum of one month in accordance with article 12 of the RGPD.
Cookies and audience measurement
The cookies necessary for the operation of the service enable us in particular to identify you when you connect to our website and to secure your connection and retain your choice relating to cookies.
We carry out audience measurement, with which we measure, for example, the number of pages viewed, the number of visits to the website, as well as the activity of visitors on the website and the frequency with which they return. To do this, we use the audience measurement tool provided by our service provider Matomo, located in France and recommended by the CNIL (French Data Protection Authority) and exempt from consent to tracking.
Cookies may be placed on your browser, with your consent, by our partners acting as data processors. These are known as third-party cookies.
